Lowcountry For Ladies Workshop (March 22-March 25, 2012)
I am thrilled to announce an exciting photography event designed exclusively for women. I will lead this fun-filled, adventurous and creative photography tour exploring Charleston and the Lowcountry region of South Carolina at a time when everything is ablaze with spring colors. Without question, early spring is the premier time to explore the Lowcountry. From vibrant azaleas filling the plantation gardens to beautiful historic architecture, Charleston and the surrounding region is a wonderful location to expand your creative vision and learn new photographic techniques along with other like-minded women. Charleston is a place of southern charm, hospitality and history, one of the most preserved cities in the United States. You will stroll along cobblestone streets, past magnificent churches, grand mansions and beautiful gardens, all meticulously maintained. You will visit renowned Plantation gardens and captivating swamps.
This will be a time to feed the soul visually and emotionally, refresh creative energies away from the daily routine. I will assist participants in developing their creative vision and achieving personal growth through the art of seeing. The more you learn to "see" with your minds, hearts and spirits, the more of an adventure photography becomes and the more your photography will express what you see. You will learn about lighting, composition, exposure, techniques and equipment as well as explore the artistic freedom of photography.
Group Size: Enrollment is strictly limited to 10 participants.
What is included? Evening wine and beverages, guiding, photo instruction and admission to plantations we may visit.
Accommodations: Lodging is not included. Our host hotel is Comfort Suites West of the Ashley, 2080 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC, 29407 Phone: (843)769-9850. They offer clean, comfortable rooms at a special workshop rate. Breakfast is included with the room.
Transportation: You are responsible for your own transportation during the workshop. Carpooling is encouraged. Much of the time in Charleston will be spent exploring on foot.

Liability: A release waiver is included in the information you will receive when you register. All participants must sign this waiver prior to the start of the tour.

Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days prior to departure: Full refund.
- 0 to 30 days prior to departure: Full refund if your vacancy is filled; otherwise, you will be charged 25% of the tour fee.
- If for some reason the event is canceled, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee. However, we cannot be responsible for any non-refundable travel expenses you may have incurred. You are urged to purchase travel protection insurance.
